SweetSaurus- Coffee Syrups- Giveaway/Review

I live on coffee. I am a single Mom with two teenagers, 3 jobs, and this blog. I don’t have time to sleep and sometimes coffee is all that saves me. I was so excited when I got a chance to review coffee syrups from SweetSaurus . I received 3 coffee syrups and a dessert syrup!

These are the coffee syrups I received:

After I stopped admiring the bottles and basking in my new Barista mode I decided it was time to try them out. Monin Swiss Chocolate had a very mild chocolate flavor and was so good. Torani Chocolate Macadamia Nut had a nice nutty flavor with a mild chocolate undertone. The Toffee crunch was also good and had a rich flavor. I decided however that was not enough. How would one of these taste in a “fancy” coffee drink and were they worth it to people to buy? Well my answer was yes! Check out this recipe and see how I was able to make a Starbucks style coffee at home for mere pennies!

Monin Swiss Chocolate Iced Coffee ( I just made this recipe up and to my taste. Feel free to adjust as needed)

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce Swiss Chocolate Syrup
• 2 tsp instant coffee
• Milk
• Whipped Cream
• Ghiradelli Chocolate Syrup
• Glass Measuring Cup ( at least a 16 oz)
• Glass

Directions:

• Warm your syrup in the microwave for about 20 seconds
• Mix in your instant coffee until it is mixed well and frothy.
• Add your milk. Mix well
• Fill glass with ice
• Strain your mixture over top of your glass
• Top with whip cream and chocolate syrup.

Frozen Iced Mocha using the same recipe above and my Mom’s ninja:

Coffee Milkshake ( Same recipe but add 2 oz’s of syrup and 3 tsp of instant coffee to make it stronger. Then instead of milk add two scoops of french vanilla ice cream)

I honestly don’t think I could go back to Starbucks, etc or grocery store creamers after making these and trying out SweetSaurus. It is a great option and I am glad to be saving a little money by not running out buying coffees. Plus with free shipping, you can’t beat it! They even have sugar free products.
