I received free KIND bars to facilitate this review.

KIND Nuts and Spices

We are huge fans of KIND bars and I pack them in the girls lunches regularly. I love how they are chocked full of all natural ingredients that you can see and taste. A while back I was sent two new flavors from the KIND Nuts and Spices line and can I just say “WOW”

KIND Nuts and Spices

The new flavors are:

Dark Chocolate Chili Almond is a sweet and spicy blend of mixed nuts drizzled in chocolate with a trio of cascabel, ancho and habanero chilies and provides 7g fiber, 6g protein with only 5g sugar.

Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt is a sweet and salty combination of pecans, almonds and peanuts covered in maple syrup with a touch of sea salt and provides 5g fiber, 6g protein with only 5g sugar.

The Dark Chocolate Chili Almond was spicy but not overwhelming. The sweetness of the dark chocolate was a nice complement to the spiciness of the chili’s. It was full of whole almonds and really packed a punch.

The Maple Glazed Pecan and Sea Salt was my absolute favorite. It was sweet, salty and had pecans you could actually see. The maple glaze added the sweetness and the sea salt was just a touch, making it the perfect sweet and salty snack.

KIND Bars- 1

I love giving my kids KIND bars because they all natural, have no GMO’s, Gluten Free and have natural sweeteners, no sugar additives or alcohols. I can feel good about letting them eat them. I love having one with my coffee and I am also partial to the Madagascar Vanilla Almond which is also in the Nuts and Spices line. Not only does KIND make products that are actually good for you but they also do charity work. Right now you can help build a firefighters home.

Through KIND’s recent partnership with clean water organization,Waves for Water, a light was shone on just how detrimental the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy still is today. John Gelalia’s story is especially powerful. The retired New Jersey firefighter saved countless lives and homes after Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on his town and the East Coast. Although John’s own home was thankfully sustained, everything in it was destroyed: his furniture, all of his belongings, flooring, electricity; everything. John was living in FEMA house shelters up until March when, without anywhere else to go, he returned to his completely gutted house where he has been living since. Knowing all he did for those during the super storm and the unfortunate challenges he is facing today, KIND felt it necessary to take action and will be partnering with Waves for Water to complete a $10,000 renovation on John’s home.

Is that awesome or what? I truly believe in being KIND to yourself and others because you never know when you are going to need help and need someone to be KIND to you.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
