My friends at Whirlpool sent me some awesome products to try out and I was really excited to receive them in the mail a few weeks ago! Some of the items we couldn’t try because we didn’t have stainless steel, etc, but we could try out several and we had a lot of fun doing it!
The EveryDrop™ Water Filter:
First of all the slogan for the EveryDrop™ is ” Fresh, Fast, and Filtered water at the speed of life”. That is one of the most accurate slogans I think I have ever heard. We are not overly green here but we do have our recycling rituals. One is plastic water bottles. I like to enjoy an occasional Pepsi and I always buy the bottled ones. I really hate throwing away the bottle because I can see it sitting in a land fill somewhere. So I try to reuse them as much as I can, mainly as a water bottle. But filling it up with tap water is just yuck and we do have a refrigerator that makes water but even sometimes that has a funny after taste. So I was pretty excited to see how the Everydrop™ worked for my bottled water and something I could use on the go. Not only that but I could also use it every day for lots of things. It is so compact I can use it for a lot of things such as:
- Washing my fruit and veggies
- My glass of water
- Cooking water ( because dinner tastes amazing with fresh, filtered water!)
- Water for my lemonade, kool-aid and crystal light
And when I am on the go I can tuck my @EveryDropWater in my bag and have filtered water anywhere. My Mom totally loved how she could make a pitcher of water with it and stick it in the fridge. No bulky filter contraptions taking up space. Like everyone else, we need all the room we can get in the fridge!
Some filters leave a nasty or funny after taste in your water. EveryDrop didn’t and I really liked that. It was really easy to use. Just add your filter and twist on the cap. Also, there is months stamped on the filter so you can twist it to two months from the day you add it and you will remember to change the filter. It is recommended you replace your filter every two months. That makes it even more cost saving and I like products that are easy on my pocket book!

About Affresh Products
We loved the EveryDrop but we lovvvvvvvvvvvved the Affresh cleaning products. I am not going to lie, my Mom is pretty brand loyal. From her kitchen appliances to her cleaning products. She is not one to stray from what she uses and loves. She was a little hesitant, even after knowing it was a product from a brand she loves. But we happen to buy a new Kitchen Aid processor ( my new pride and joy!!!) and while learning to use it I made a little bit of a mess. So my Mom grabbed the Affresh appliance cleaner and sprayed it. First of all, it smells wonderful! All of the products do but the appliance cleaner is just, yum. If cleaner can be yum. It had an awesome citrus smell and made the house smell like a vacation. It cleaned really good too. So good I had to take a picture after we cleaned it. I wish I would have gotten a before, but oh well. You will have to take my word for it!
The other product my Mom loved the most was the Washer cleaner. My Moms dryer is broken and she has to wash clothes, then hang them to dry. By the time she is done, she is to tired to clean the washing machine. So she loved the fact she could just throw it in, start the washer and it would clean it until it was sparkling. She said she did have to wipe out some residue but it worked so well that she was more than happy to do that. In addition, she said it smelled great ( no huge chemical smell) and there was no lingering odor on her next wash.
We were also sent several of their stainless steel products but we don’t have stainless steel. So we sent them off to my Uncle who has a whole kitchen full. So far he has been very happy with the products and said that they do not leave a residue and has actually made his appliances look better. It was smudge free and didn’t scratch up the surface. He wanted to know where he could buy them!
All in all we were very pleased with the line of products we received. Whirlpool has been a big part of my life because we have always owned a bunch of their products. From the Kitchen Aid Food Processor to our Whirlpool fridge. We know it is a brand we can trust and their stuff lasts. My Mom still has the first crank washing machine she ever had and it still works. How awesome is that?
