Your name is Bobbie..So why is your site called Dishin’ with Rebelle?

I always have to smile when I get asked this question. 9 times out of 10 when I receive e-mail it always says “Dear Rebelle”. I know some bloggers get upset over people not using their proper names but I smile every time I see it. Rebel was my nickname for many years. When I was around 5 years old I used to love a TV show called Happy Days and my favorite character was The Fonz. The catch phrase “Sit On It” became my mantra. One Sunday I told the preacher to “Sit On It” and my Dad started calling me little Rebel. A lot of people assume I spell it Rebelle because of Rihanna but actually I have used that spelling for quite a few years.

Why don’t you announce your winners on the blog?

I used to announce them on Facebook but then Facebook made it against the TOS to announce winners, tag them, or even message them. I just found out recently that Facebook will be implementing a new $1.00 fee to message people not on your friends list. I also announced them on the blog until people started asking me not to. Some people just don’t like their name announced. So when I contact winners now I give them the option of heading over to Facebook and doing a yippee, etc. Some do and some don’t. I do however keep a winners list which is mandatory by law. You can request one here- [email protected] with your mailing address. Sorry, I do not send it by e-mail. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks to receive it.

What type of Items do you review?

I review all kinds of items. My blog is very diverse. My favorites are food, kitchen gadgets, beauty products, and tech gadgets ( especially tablets, computers, phones, and cameras). I noticed you are a designer. Do you design for other blogs?

Yes! I do it as time allows. I do blog layouts, buttons, media kits, etc. My rates differ from project to project. I also set up e-stores and have done quite a few. If you are interested in my designing please contact me @ [email protected].
