I have been really busy the last couple of weeks. Not only did I start my new foodie blog, The Experimental Foodie, but I have also been working on several campaigns. Couple that with all my website design jobs and this Mama has been running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. I am almost ashamed to admit I have hardly had time to cook unless it is for a recipe. I know, the shame is eating me up. Thankfully though I have a few tricks up my sleeve and have been able to have meals with my girls on a regular basis. One of our favorites is Chicken Stroganoff and thanks to Tyson Grilled and Ready refrigerated chicken strips I can make it in 15 minutes. No lie.

I have been a fan of Tyson for years, and the Grilled and Ready line is my favorite. It saves me so much time because I don’t have to cook the chicken, slice, dice, cut up, etc and it is always ready when I am. It also gives me a chance to serve something healthier to my girls. Now before anyone lynches me I am not saying this particular recipe is full of health but you can use the Grilled and Ready chicken strips for salads, wraps and many other healthy meal options!

Chicken Stroganoff is all about the ingredients and thanks to Walmart I can always get the ingredients plus save money. You can find their Tyson products in one of two places- the freezer section or the refrigerated section. Not only is this stroganoff quick and easy to make, it don’t take a lot of ingredients either. What you see up there is all you need! You can see my full shopping trip on Google+. As with any fabulous recipe sometimes you need inspiration. My Chicken Stroganoff inspiration came from this recipe HERE. I just changed it up to fit me and my families taste. Guess what? You can too! In fact I encourage you too because it is so much fun to find inspiration and then adapt it!

Look how amazing that is and it only took 15 minutes! It was so quick that I *gasp* actually go to sit down at the table to eat it! I know stroganoff is usually made with beef, but we don’t eat a ton of beef here and when we do we usually eat something amazing like Filet Mignon or NY Strip Steak. But I am a huge fan of stroganoff so chicken was a great option for us! No matter how you fix it or what recipe you try having #mealstogether is the most important part. Not only do you get to talk to your kids, spend family time together, but you also get to sit down and relax. How awesome is that?
