It is hard to believe but in a few short weeks Black Friday will be here and so will all the sales. I can’t believe it is almost another holiday season and I find myself wondering where the time went. I am also a little worried this year because we, like many Americans, were affected by the government shut down so we are a little depleted on funds. That is why I am glad I found Find&Save, a cool site that has all the deals local to my area (and yours too!) but will also have all of the Black Friday deals at my fingertips. The best part is I can sign up to have them e-mailed to me directly, saving me a lot of time!

What kind of black Friday shopper are you? Find&Save has this handy little infographic with tips whether you are a late night shopper or early bird.
I am a night owl and would love for the stores to start early in the evening Thanksgiving. Because, number 1, I need to run off that turkey and number 2, it is a little less hectic. I must admit I do a lot of my shopping online but when I have to head to the stores I make sure I am prepared! And apparently I am not the only one. Find&Save did a survey and found that most black Friday shoppers come with a game plan:
Black Friday Shoppers Research Deals and Create a Game Plan
A key finding of the research cites that 67 percent of shoppers not only research and map out a plan for Black Friday, but also have a different strategy each year based on where they will find the best deals.
Traditional media sources like newspaper circulars, television, and direct mail are still considered among the top sources by Black Friday shoppers; in fact, newspapers were still rated by most (36 percent) as a top source of information. But while only 29 percent said emails were a top source of information, 82 percent said they would be interested in receiving emails on Black Friday sales.
Mobile devices are increasingly important while shopping. Two-thirds either use or would consider using their mobile device to help with Black Friday shopping — primarily they would use it to check prices or use the geo-locator to find sales near them. They are also interested in using their mobile device to browse Black Friday circulars while on the go.
Our game plan is to send me in. I am short, really short and you wouldn’t believe the amount of spaces I can fit into. I am like a small child heading through the crowds. I have been known to snap up several products just from maneuvering through the crowd or crawling. There is no shame in my game when I am trying to get a Christmas gift. I actually had a friend go one time and had one of those fake pregnant bellies on. Of course when people saw she was pregnant, they moved out of the way. It is amazing what we parents will do to score the latest toy at an incredible deal.
Thankfully Find&Save has an app on iPad, that means I will have the information at my fingertips and can create an awesome gameplan that does not include me crawling through the crowd. SCORE!
