Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a wonderful New Years Eve! We stayed home and watched the ball drop. I was thinking last night before I had children New Years Eve was a time to go out, party, and get drunk. The next morning it was time to hug the porcelain god, lol. As much fun as I had those years I wouldn’t trade last night to relive them. The girls loved wearing their hats and blowing their horns. They are teens now and soon they will be off doing their own thing. They will want to spend New Years Eve with their friends, doing the party route. I treasure every holiday they want to spend with dear old Mom because I know to soon they wont want to.
Here is to 2013! Hopefully it will be an amazing year for everyone. Yes, there will be heart ache, some sadness, and maybe tragedy but unfortunately that is all part of life. To me what constitutes as a good year is if my family is still healthy, together, and has a roof over our heads. With so many people losing their jobs and having such a hard time making ends meet, I have learned to not take anything for granted. So I hope you, dear readers, have a fantastic year filled with love, light, and laughter but most of all one filled with family, friends, and joy!
Happy 2013~!
