Jessie Steele is girly and in case you haven’t noticed by looking at my site, I am a little girly too! So when I had a chance to review the Jessie Steele Cream and Black Polka Dot Tote, I jumped at it. After I finished squealing of course, because it is such a super cute bag! Pssst, I received a bag from Jessie Steele to facilitate this post. All opinions are mine and I received no other compensation. Pshew, now that we got that out of the way let’s talk about this tote!
Jessie Steele Cream and Black Polka Dot Tote:
This bag is bigger than you think. It has a lot of room for all of your essentials and is great for the beach, the grocery or to carry your books back to the library. I am sure there are still people out there that borrow books, right?
I had a heck of a time trying to show you how big it was because my camera was being stubborn. Finally I had a eureka! moment and hung it on the side of my chair. Yeah, I am pretty awesome, I know. But not as awesome as this tote, look how cute!!
It looks white in the picture but it is actually a creamy white. It is not a true cream, or at least what I think the color cream looks like. The pink bow on the bag is a true pink and very vivid. It has a “paris” feel too it. Meaning I would look totally awesome carrying this in Paris.
Jessie Steele definitely pays attention to detail. From the cute tag hanging on it ( honestly I hated to cut it off) to the super cute bow on the zipper. Beware, total cuteness overdrive coming!
Seeee, how cute is that! I feel very Jackie Kennedy or Lucille Ball when I pull the zipper. Because I know they would have totally had a bow on the zipper in their bag.
A lot of times when you think cute, you think little. Not true here. This is cute and big. The bag measures 13.0″ X 14.0″. You have plenty of room to put things you want to carry with you. I packed it for a little day trip the other day and had inside:
- My tablet
- Cell phone
- Wallet
- Keys
- Point and Shoot camera
- Notepad and Pencil
I still had room but that was all I needed. A couple of nights ago my daughter used it to carry her books back to the library ( see I told you there were still people that borrowed books) and she had plenty of room.
It is a really cute bag and I know any girl ( young or old ) would love to have it. Wouldn’t your little ballerina look adorable carrying her stuff to ballet class? Or your softball player carrying her glove, etc to practice?
About Jessie Steele:
Helena Steele and her daughter Claire started Jessie Steele because of Helena’s love of aprons. See it really does start with just a dream and a passion. In late 2001, at the turn of the new century, Helena saw the world trending back to family, celebrations, and the comforts of home. She realized it was the perfect time to re-introduce the apron as an accessory, a fashion, and an iconic statement about happiness, home, and treasured simple pleasures. There were anything but humble goals: Turn a century of tradition into a wearable story everyone can share, whether you’re putting pie in the window, or champagne on ice. She called her daughter and laid out the concept. Claire was intrigued, and Jessie Steele was born. They took a complex process and added an exacting vision: Create retro yet thoroughly modern aprons with flattering cuts and beautiful prints.
In 2007 they began designing original Jessie Steele prints, and rolled out a new in-house collection every season. These prints are now licensed internationally, creating custom programs with some of the most prestigious major retailers in the world.
Jessie Steele remains devoted to creating new stories, woven from the threads of a past fondly remembered and lovingly re-imagined… in prints and styles that evoke memories of what home always means.
