My girls love the LEGO figures and especially the video games! So when I found this LEGO Minifigure Family card making activity, I was all over it. It was such a cute idea and looked easy to do!
The first thing I had to do was customize our figures. This was really easy and I was able to name them, put different clothes on them, hats, shirts and pants. They had a lot of neat stuff to choose from, but I did wish they had more torsos for the kids. I was even able to add the cat ( you can also add a dog)and you can customize up to 13 people per card. So you can add Grandparents as well!
After I customized my LEGO minifigures it took me to where I could add a scene. They had several to choose from and all were super cute. I chose the scene above because it had the Christmas tree but you can do outdoors, a stage and others.
After I finished picking a scene it took me to a screen where I could download my card, send it by e-mail or share to my social media channels. You guys know I am pretty social so I shared it everywhere! This is great if you want to send super cute greetings to family/friends that live far away.
I did ours but I honestly think this would be amazing for kids to do, with your permission of course. They could make a cute card and send it to all of their school friends, grandma and grandpa or far away family. It is a perfect way to get them involved in sending out Holiday greetings! It’s not just Christmas either, they had several different clothing and scene options, making it perfect for all of your holiday celebrations.
I would love if you made a quick card and shared it with me in the comments below! It could be a holiday greeting exchange and really fun!
