A friend of mine contacted me on Facebook and asked me to do a post about low cholesterol recipes. She said she had tried to find some one her own but navigating the internet searching was hard. It wasn’t until I tried searching myself that I understood what she meant. I had a hard time finding good, low cholesterol recipes and even some I did find didn’t seem exactly heart healthy. But, I kept pursuing and I think I found some great low cholesterol recipes.
I cannot guarantee that all of these recipes will fit into your diet. I wholeheartedly suggest reading each recipe thoroughly and see if they fit the diet guidelines your doctor has in place for you. I also encourage you to see your doctor before making any dietary changes.
(sorry about no pictures. I didn’t have time to ask for permission and some are from big sites. )
