I created my easy snacks using Hershey’s™ Spreads as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #SpreadPossibilities #hersheysheroes

When the holidays roll around the girls are off school for winter break. That means I have to feed them because they law says so. Sometimes it is really hard because for the last few months they have been eating at school and I haven’t had to think about lunch or snacks. That is why I am glad I was introduced to Hershey’s™ Spreads.

They come in three different flavors:

  • Chocolate
  • Chocolate with Hazelnut
  • Chocolate with Almond

All three taste amazing but when I was coming up with the extra special snack my eye kept going to the Chocolate with Hazelnut because I love Hazelnut. The snacks were really easy to put together, so simple there is only 4 steps.

  1. Toast your waffles
  2. Spread on Hershey’s Spread™ of your choice
  3. Cut into “pizza” slices
  4. Serve with oranges

That is all there was to it. On the day I made my little snack plate the girls were in school. So me and my Mom decided to try it out and well, lets just say there wasn’t any left. It was that good. We had some oranges left over so I threw caution to the wind and ate the rest of them with the chocolate almond, YUM!

Snacks after school are great but what about when you need a quick appetizer? Well, the waffles and chocolate work for that too. Just cut them into bite size pieces and put a decorative pick in them to hold them together. If you are feeling really adventurous try some of the almond on toasted nut bread. Again, cut into bite size pieces and hold together with a pick.

On Christmas Eve we plan to set out all three flavors and add graham crackers, cookies, waffle pieces, marshmallows, fruit, sprinkles, etc and make a dip bar. I know our guests will love that!
