If you have been following the blog, you have seen that I have been riding the crazy train of sweet goodness the last couple of weeks! I am here to tell you that there is noting more exciting then getting a box of treats delivered to your door step. Opening the package you can smell the sweet smell of awesomeness and when you open it you feel like you are queen for the day.

This held true with Ruth’s Brownie Zingers. I opened my box and inside was this very pretty pink ( just in case you didn’t know is my favorite color..ever) box. Inside was something unique, something I had never thought of existing (well maybe I had but for the sake of this post we will pretend I didn’t), something yummy.. brownie tops. I am being serious! That is what Ruth’s Brownie Zingers are, the best part of the brownie, the crunchy, delicious top!

They were all nestled in these pretty little bags with pink ribbons tied around them. **Squee Worthy**. See the names? Those are written by hand, adding a special personal touch. Ruth’s Kitchen has several delicious treats available and everything is made from scratch and in small batches. That way everything that is shipped ( within hours of leaving the oven I might add) is fresh and tasty. Not a lot of sites can say that and I really think that makes all the difference in the taste and the presentation.

What I Received:
Walnut Brownie Zingers
Chocolate Chunk Brownie Zingers
Toffee Crunch Brownie Zingers
My Thoughts:
My favorite without a doubt was the walnut. First of all the walnuts were not salty. I love salty and sweet as much as the next person and I know salted caramel is all the rage right now but sometimes you really just want to taste the chocolate. When nuts are salted you taste salted chocolate and sometimes that just makes me sigh. I had never had Valhrona Chocolate before and let me tell you, it is the bomb. In fact it is so good it almost rivals my ultimate chocolate indulgence, Gharidelli. I would love to try just one little square of it in it’s pure form because I have a feeling I would be lost in chocolate emotions I haven’t felt before. ( What? I love chocolate). Which leads me into the chocolate chunk. I have just one word, Fabulous! It has a rich flavor and the chunks of Valhrona just make it even better. I love the crunch of these zingers and guess what? It really is the best part of the brownie. The Toffee Crunch was my least favorite. There was just something off in the marrying of ingredients I couldn’t put my finger on. Thinking maybe I was being a little harsh because I loved the other two so much I decided to ask Nana Helen. She also agreed that there was something not meshing.
