This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of McCormick & Company. All opinions are 100% mine.

Sometimes my teens are hard to feed. If I would allow them they would live on junk food. Also, there has to be some kind of rule somewhere that says teens have to eat a lot of tacos. I get bored eating tacos once a week and I am always looking for variety. I was so excited to find McCormick’s Taco Casserole. It was taco, meaning the girls would love it and it was different, meaning I wouldn’t be bored. Win-Win in my opinion.

I use a lot of McCormick.com spices. It is what my Grandmother and Mother used so I grew up with the brand in my house. It is what I turn to for quality and I am all about the quality. I must admit though this is the first time I used McCormick’s taco seasoning and I must say, it was really good. You don’t need a lot of ingredients to make this casserole which means it’s not only teen friendly ( or kid friendly) but also wallet friendly. All I needed was:

  1. Ground beef
  2. McCormick Taco Seasoning Mix
  3. 1 can of pinto beans
  4. 1 can of Mexican corn ( I actually used southwest corn and it was good)
  5. 1 Cup of shredded cheese
  6. Crushed Tortilla chips

I did not add the tortilla chips in the casserole. I used them as a topping and added a little sour cream and green onion on top when I served it. It was really delicious and the girls loved it. I couldn’t ask for more than that.

McCormick has been generous enough to host a Homemade In America giveaway for the blog! All you have to do is comment and answer the following question:

“What is your favorite McCormick Spice?”

The giveaway is open to US Residents and you must be 18 or older to win. Contest will be open from 10/23 - 10-30-13 . Good Luck!
