New Years Eve is always a magical time! It is the dawn before a new beginning, when everything holds promise. We make those New Years resolutions that in some way will make us a better person. We swear to keep them and the reality of “probably not” is not a thought in our head. Even with amazing promise and new beginnings that is not even the best part of New Years Ever. No, parties, that is the best part. Fabulous parties with yummy food, desserts, and people. Well not yummy people, or maybe yummy people if Johnny Depp is on the guest list. But definitely yummy desserts and food.

I have noticed that with New Years Eve appetizers and finger size desserts make the menus, while heavy dinner food, sandwiches, etc get left off. I think this is because generally New Years Eve parties do not start until after 8. That is not a great time to have a lot of heavy food. However, most NYE celebrations include alcohol so you need something for guests to eat. This list is for some of the most unique appetizers and desserts you can make for your NYE party. You will be the hostess with the mostess and people will be asking when your next party is! If you stop by any of these places please leave them some love if you can!
