I was given a free one month subscription to Weight Watchers to try their new Simple Start plan and write about my experience.Though I was compensated for my time and commitment, all views, positive and negative, are my own
Anyone that knows me, knows that I have struggled with my weight for years. I have been up and down the scale so many times I think I should get a medal for it. It also doesn’t help when you have a food blog and want to cook all kinds of delicious ( and often time fattening food). One day I just decided to get off of the crazy train. I was TIRED of worrying about it. And you know what? I didn’t gain. I didn’t lose, but I didn’t blow up into a blimp either. I was happy with being just me.
So why am I interested in joining the Weight Watchers Simple Start Plan if I am so happy with myself? Because this isn’t about losing weight, losing weight will be the bonus. This is about making better food choices, eating healthier and control. However, let me set the record straight by saying I am not going to hit this full force ahead. I am going to make small changes at first and learn how to eat better by keeping up with my points, choosing foods that I will enjoy and flavorful recipes. I believe if I change one meal a day, I am already doing good.
I don’t get personal on here, you guys know that but I have spent so much time being unhappy. I don’t want to go there again. I do however want to live to see my Grandkids. I do want to live a long, full life traveling the world and eating amazing food. But to get there I am going to have to learn to eat better, exercise a little more and keep track of it all.
Weight Watchers Simple Start Plan makes it easy to do it while on the go. You guys know I received a tablet a couple of months ago and it is with me all the time. I downloaded my WW Simple Start Plan App onto it and everything I go I have my points. There is also one for mobile, so if I am without Wifi, I am completely covered. I don’t like things hard and I like seeing Weight Watchers make getting healthy ( and losing weight ) easier.
