I not only love making food gifts, I love to receive them. Most of the food gifts you see online are for Christmas, etc. There are other holidays and food gifts can be given any holiday. I especially love the ones that give me a chance to make something out of my kitchen. Chocolate Chip Cookies, Brownies, and Pies are hugely popular. However, spices are gaining some serious momentum. Times are hard right now and people are stretching their budgets as far as they can go. Spices are sometimes really expensive. Yes, you can buy them at Dollar Stores but sometimes you are sacrificing quality. Homemade spices are wonderful for yourself or as a gift. Yes, you have to buy the ingredients but you will get enough to last you for some time. My favorites are Chili Seasoning, Taco Seasoning, and Ranch Dressing.

Another big Food Gift gaining momentum is jams and jellies. The most popular flavors are Raspberry, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Orange Marmalade. Making jam and jelly is not as hard as you think. There are some fabulous easy recipes out there and they don’t cost much to make. Food Gifts show someone how much you love them and you can make a big statement without spending a ton of money.

Great collection! I plan on making jelly for the first time soon. I’ll have to keep some aside for gifts.
    Pinned it for the future.

Love this list I am going off right now to make the Pumpkin Pie Spice, its so difficult to come by in the UK and when you can its super expensive and I already have all the spices at home…. super excited! I’m definitely going to be studying this list at length. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Emma!
I am happy you found something useful on it! We love the Pumpkin Pie Spice and even though it is readily available here in the states, homemade just tastes better. Let me know how you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
