A lot of people don’t know I collect dolls. I have some that are worth a lot of money, some that have sentimental value and some that I just love. It is possible I have ever doll I have ever received in my life. They are packed away but I still have fond memories of them. My Mom always wanted a girl so when I came along she made sure I had all the girly things I could want. My room was completely pink ( still my favorite color) with a canopy bed ( do they still make those?) and full of dolls. It is possible that is the reason my nickname is Bobbie Doll or Emma Doll ( don’t ask ) depending on which set of friends you talk to.
Of course I handed down the love of dolls to my daughters and they have quite the collection themselves. They have two sets of dolls, the ones they played with and the ones they collect.
