I remember when I was younger, especially in the winter time, coming home from a hard day at school and smelling spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove. Sometimes, if my Mom was in just the right mood, there would be meatballs with it. We would all gather around the table (true story, my Mom was a firm believer of the family table) and we would talk while slurping up spaghetti noodles and sauce. That sauce was Ragu. For a long time it was the traditional sauce and then Tomato, Garlic, and Onion. Yummo!
Ragu was an important part of my childhood and my daughters love it as well. Nothing gets them talking about their long day of childhood like sitting around the table eating a big plate full of spaghetti.
