You see the badge up there? I wish I was able to put that badge on my side bar because I was really going. I am newbie to Social Fabric because I have only been a member a little over a month. So far I have loved it. I can’t believe the interaction with bloggers and the amazing ‘shoppertunities” I could be a part of . What are shoppertunities you may ask? That is when I get to go into a store, take a bunch of pictures, and then do this amazing post about my shop and make recipes. Really, what is not to love? I feel honored to be part of such an amazing group of bloggers. I have learned so much and I know I could learn more at SoFabCon. Below are my reasons why I want to go!

Reason Number 1:

Because I am tired. I am honest person and I am going to tell you like it is. I am tired of never being able to afford opportunities because I am a single Mom with two kids. Please don’t even assume I am a dead beat because I am not. I work and I work hard. I have taken jobs that I probably shouldn’t have taken to put food on my table. But, on the other hand don’t feel sorry for me, I love my kids and I love my life. However, I want to learn too! Just look at the agenda up there! SEO, I need help desperately and yeah, there are a thousand online posts and everyone is an expert but learning in the vicinity of other like minded individuals gives you a perspective you can’t get anywhere else. Photography- this one is self- explanatory. Have you seen my photography? It needs all the help it can get! Monetizing your blog- Hello, I am single Mom with two kids, of course I want to learn how to monetize my blog. I love blogging and I love being able to do it. But I would also love to make money with it. Brands and Bloggers- this would just be the icing on the cake. I love working with the brands I work with, and I would love to work with more!

But most importantly I want to learn at SoFabCon because I have already learned so much in the community. Being with them in person would be a learning experience like no other!

Reason Number 2:

My kids need a vacation from me! Seriously, I never leave the house. Working the majority of your day, helping with homework, dinner, etc does not give you much time to go out and have a social life. Add a non-existent father and well, you see where I am going. Avery is holding that sign because when I told them about this she was like “Omg, please go. We need a vacay from you!” Gee, thanks there kid! But I can’t blame them, they are at an age now where they don’t want me hanging out all the time. They want, no they need, to be away from me for a few days. When Avery puts it on a sign, she means it!

Reason Number 3:

I think this is where I put the sob story and believe me I have one, probably more sobbier than most but I don’t want to get this great opportunity like that. I want to get it because someone at #cbias saw that I was worthy enough to come. That they saw something in me and my blog that no one else sees and knows I could utilize the scholarship to the best of my ability. How would I really utilize it you may ask?

• By taking the amazing things I learn at #sofabcon and utilizing them on my blog.
• Using the relationships I build as a way to help others in the blogging community. Isn’t that what all of this is about, helping each other?
• Become a more active member of the community so I wont always be to shy. I hate not being able to take part in discussions, etc, because I am so shy. Even online. If I met all these wonderful people I would be so much more comfortable talking in the groups, etc.

Reason Number 4:

It isn’t a #sofab post without a little shopping! Since I can’t just grab images and do a google+ album, I did one on Pinterest! I would need lots of things to get ready for the conference and I pinned some of my favorites to the board. That is one of the reasons I love SoFab. I get a chance to find new things and learn about new products that I wouldn’t know about it my little bubble here at Casa Rebelle.

Somtimes I wish I was funnier, more creative, and wittier. But I’m not. All I can be is sincere and post from my heart. I sincerely do want to attend #sofabcon. It would be a dream come true! I want to learn, I want to be more, I want to DO more, but most of all I want to build relationships and meet all of the amazing women that make all this possible.
